There’s no cost for organizations to join GlobalGiving. Instead, GlobalGiving retains a 5-12% nonprofit support fee plus a 3% third party processing fee on donations. GlobalGiving works hard to keep costs low; the nonprofit support fee is 5-7% for most donations. This covers their vetting costs and enables them to deliver even more money (and many other benefits) to our partners. Unlike some crowdfunding and technology platforms, GlobalGiving is a nonprofit organization itself with a mission to help other nonprofits and donors have more impact, not to make a profit.
