Exciting news – we’ve moved!
Last Friday, with the help of members of the Oakland Workers’ Collective, we moved three desks, two filing cabinets, two bookcases, and many, many boxes of files and books to our new space in Suite 508 of 2201 Broadway, in the heart of uptown Oakland.
We couldn’t be more thrilled for this fresh start, especially since we are sharing the office with four incredible peer organizations:
- Amazon Watch works directly with indigenous communities in the Amazon region of Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru to build local capacity and advance the long-term protection of their lands.
- Earthworks is dedicated to protecting communities and the environment from the adverse impacts of mineral and energy development while promoting sustainable solutions.
- Food Shift collaborates with communities, businesses and governments to develop long-term sustainable solutions to reduce food waste and build more resilient communities.
- Real Food Media uses powerful media and storytelling to inspire, educate and grow the movement for sustainable food and farming.
Help us warm the new space by making a donation today to support rural communities in Central America working for environmental conservation and sustainable economic development.
